Umihara Kawase Portable

This game is a platformer with a twist: you play a girl in an aquatic world where your only weapons are your intellect and a grappling hook, which you must master to complete the game. There aren’t any power-ups. Your adversaries are all water creatures, but some have acquired legs and may now attack and chase you on land. One of the game’s unique features is its replay value, which other platformers lack: you can complete the game and then play against your best time, try to locate hidden ageways or exits, or even record your finest replays on the memory card. This is a re-release of the original Umihara Kawase: Shun for the Sony PlayStation, released in 1997. New levels have been added, as well as various bug fixes, although the game is substantially the same as the first edition.
