Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09

The sport of golf is recreated in detail in the video game Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09. Compared to the version from 2008, this game is missing various playing options, one of which is an online multiplayer component. The traditional PGA Tour career mode and the EA Sports Cup are all left. The latter includes playing on courses that are only three holes long. Players who participate in competitions and accomplish goals earn experience and skill points. These can be put toward leveling up their character and increasing their capabilities. The player can select either the two-click controls or the True Swing controls. With the former, the player must click two or three times at the appropriate intervals to set the hit conditions. In contrast, with the latter, the player uses the analog stick to simulate the hitting movement. There are a total of twenty-seven licensed players and twenty different courses.
