Itou Makoto is a typical individual who resides in a typical community and leads a typical lifestyle. He has affection for the lovely girl, Katsura Kotonoha, who rides the train with him to school, but he is far too hesitant to approach her. However, one day, his fellow student Sekai pushes him to take the plunge and confess his feelings to her. Three young people begin to construct a complex web of love, jealousy and want, and this is the beginning of a relationship that is both sweet and bitter.
