Freeze Frame is a cartoon on Nicktoons. Characters from a variety of Nickelodeon shows, such as The Fairly OddParents, Spongebob Squarepants, Danny Phantom, and Rocket Power, appear in the game Frenzy, which is played in a side-scrolling format and involves capturing pictures. Characters are being tossed into each other’s worlds as robotic replicas strive to blend into their society amidst the upheaval caused by an unidentified foe who has begun to scramble the several universes that make up the Nicktoons. Players assume the role of a prominent character from one of the franchises that are being represented. Jimmy Neutron gives them instructions to travel to the worlds of the Nicktoons and utilize a camera that has been specifically developed for that purpose to transport characters back to their dimensions while simultaneously locating and vanquishing robot doppelgangers. The player can maneuver their selected avatar within a predetermined walking area to sidestep potential dangers and get more advantageous vantage points for their freely rotatable camera cursor. Taking photos of things in the environment can expose hidden characters, and many of the secret characters need to be photographed many times before they can carry out their acts or return to their home realm. There is a scoring barrier that must be sured at each level, and the only way to do this is to take photographs of fascinating sites and characters. There are also several smaller side tasks, such as shooting images of a specific interaction between people, which, if fulfilled, award additional points. Each stage comes to a close with a boss encounter, during which players must avoid being attacked and take three shots that hit the robot copies accurately. In the Spongebob Squarepants Movie, the crown that belonged to King Neptune has been stolen, and the primary suspect is Mr. Krabs. SpongeBob and his loyal (but dimwitted) friend Patrick agree to make the risky voyage to Shell City to reclaim the crown and save Mr. Krabs’ life, even though Mr. Krabs ed them up for a promotion. Participate in the game as SpongeBob or Patrick as they engage in conversations with other characters from the film, collect “manliness” points to unlock various power-ups, and travel around expansive worlds in the “Patty Wagon.”
